4 eggs
2 cups sugar
2 cups flour (plain)
1 cup salad oil
(a good substitute is 4 ounces of applesauce for 4 ounces of oil)
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups pumpkin

Mix eggs and sugar. Add oil, flour, soda, cinnamon, and salt.
Mix well.
Stir in pumpkin.
Pour in tube pan.
Bake 350 degrees for 1 hour.

Cream Cheese Icing

1 8ounce pkg cream cheese
1 stick margarine
1 Box confectioners sugar
2 tsp vanilla 1 cup chopped pecans

Combine cheese, sugar, marg and vanilla. Beat until creamy. Stir in pecans.
