This is a beginning. There are no quick fixes. To the right are links to the best group online and offline when it comes to dealing with the emotions that come with being the "other" kid. What's most important is to realize there are others like you and you are not alone. I'm out here. You will learn that you don't need to fix what's going on. I'm proof that you can get past it, you can move on. You NEED to take care of yourself.
My Story
I am a kid of a grandparent (again). I am the one who knew what it took to make it in the world, and have achieved almost all that I wanted. I worked from the time I was legal (well, you lied about my age once, to get me a paper route). I'm the kid that watched our family being torn apart due to my brother's selfishness (drug use). I am the kid that acted out for a while, for attention, only to find your hands already full - so I straightened up and took my life in my own hands.
